Good therapy..
Working at getting one of my old rides back on the road.. haven't ridden my Honda Shadow since 2001! Needless to say it needs a little TLC to get it back in shape. Suprisingly not as much needs to be done as I thought. Change the fluids, bleed the brakes and clutch, treat the gas tank for rust. Found the ultimate rust treatment if any other riders need the same www.rusteco.com. Actually can be used for any rust removal items. Needs new blinker stays because they all broke after sitting in storage for 6 years plus. :-( Of course new battery, all bike riders (and bikes!) need a new one every year if they don't get ridden regularly..
Basically "the usual" for a bike that has sat that long.. :-)
Can't wait, it gives me great mental theraphy to take a nice weekend ride when the mind is thinking too hard. Anyone want to start a riding club?
Also working on the bike itself is very mind settling..
